PHOTOVOLTAIC INSTALLATION IN THE 5TH PRIMARY SCHOOL OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF HERAKLION
An important project by CRETA ENERGON, concerning the installation of a photovoltaic system at the 5th Primary School of Heraklion, is being completed in the next period, as it remains to be connected to the DEDDIE network.
A photovoltaic (PV) NET METERING system, with an installed capacity of 17.60 kWp, was installed on the roof of the 5th Primary School, which will be interconnected to the Low Voltage network of DEDDIE. A total of 32 panels were installed, which will produce approximately 28,000 kWh per year.
It is noted that this project is part of the overall effort of the Municipality of Heraklion to save electricity in schools. And its impact is particularly important both economically and environmentally and is in full harmony with national and European policies to deal with the effects of climate change.
