NET METERING AND HEAT PUMP: THIS IS THE TRICK

The combination of a heat pump with a photovoltaic home connected to the network, are able to reduce or even eliminate the costs for electricity, heating, cooling, and domestic hot water (DHW).

With Net Metering, residential and professional consumers are given the opportunity to produce part or all of the electricity they consume by installing a photovoltaic system on the roof of their building or in an adjacent area.

The current produced by the photovoltaic system is recorded by a meter and distributed to the grid. The current consumed is already known and measured as before. The difference between the two counters will be charged to the consumer when he consumes more than he produces or will be credited when he consumes less than he produces, thus ensuring economy.

In this way, the consumer becomes energy independent, while he is not affected by future increases in electricity.

Also, with the appropriate photovoltaic system, it can also cover other needs, such as heating the home using a heat pump, ensuring even greater savings and essentially a very serious additional family income.
