MECHANICAL VENTILATION WITH HEAT RECOVERY
Posted on: 02/12/21
Ventilation is the exchange of air that takes place by opening the windows and contributes significantly to maintaining good indoor air quality. It is important because it ensures a clean and healthy indoor environment, preventing the formation of mold and moisture on interior surfaces.
Some of the effects of ventilation are:
1. Waste of energy
2. Air inlet with possible pollutants
3. Increase of noise
4. It is limited to the respective space
5. It takes a long time for the temperature to return to its original level
MECHANICAL VENTILATION WITH HEAT RECOVERY
Heat recovery mechanical ventilation (HRV) is the exchange of indoor air with fresh outside air, without losing energy inside the building.
Their function is based on the fact that, on the one hand, we "pull" the congested air from inside the house (eg bathrooms, kitchen) and discard it in the external environment, while on the other hand, we "pull" fresh , filtered air from the outside environment.
The two air currents meet at the exchanger, where the current coming out of the internal environment "leaves" its energy to what is entering.
1. Energy saving, Up to 93% degree of Heat Recovery
2. Ventilation in all areas
3. Immediate removal of mold, odor & moisture
4. Sound insulation
