A BOOST FOR GREEK PHOTOVOLTAIC PLANTS - SOLAR RADIATION INCREASED STRONGLY IN JUNE
A significant increase of 20-30% above standard levels was noted this June in Greece and Turkey solar radiation, according to an analysis by Solcast, boosting the efficiency of photovoltaics.
The cause is the static meteorological conditions in SE Europe, while on the contrary in the west of the Old Continent there was a drop of up to 20% in radiation.
Specifically, in France and Germany it decreased by 5.5%, in Britain it increased by 15% and in Finland by 10%.
